Sixty-four members of Raja Club Athletic held a meeting in Casablanca to discuss the club’s current situation amid what they described as a critical period on sporting, organizational and institutional levels.
The meeting resulted in a statement outlining several demands directed at the club’s current board, beginning with a call for an urgent meeting to explain the situation and present the measures and decisions planned to address the crisis.
The members also called on the board to submit its resignation at the earliest general assembly, paving the way for a new phase in the club’s management that would meet the expectations of its various stakeholders and supporters.
In addition, the signatories called for a comprehensive audit of the club’s sporting operations, covering player contracts and recruitment decisions, as well as technical, administrative and financial management.
The proposed audit, they said, should identify existing shortcomings and establish responsibility for the problems affecting the club.
