The Tanger Court of First Instance issued its verdicts early Wednesday morning in the Group Kheir case.
The court sentenced the group’s leader and her deputy to five years in prison, along with three other defendants who received the same sentence.

Eight other women were sentenced to four years each, while five additional defendants were given three-year sentences.
One defendant received two years, and three others were sentenced to one year each, among others.
The session lasted nearly 36 hours, with the families of the accused waiting at the courthouse for the final rulings.
