Ripple, a company built around the XRP cryptocurrency, extends its RippleNet services into Morocco via a new partnership deal with Attijariwafa Bank, one of the biggest banks in Morocco and Africa. It is expanding as Thunes, a global cross-border payments company.

This strategic collaboration will allow the customers of Attijariwafa Bank to receive cross-border transfers through the Thunes network instead of using outdated payment systems.

Through this collaboration with Thunes Payments and Attijariwafa Bank, Ripple XRP is expanding RippleNet services in Morocco and the MENA region which has many advantages.

Ripple has rebranded most of its ideas under the name of RippleNet. It offers instant international payments to banks and worldwide financial entities. The Ripple network operates by using blockchain technology.

The XRP in Ripple XRP is a centralized cryptocurrency that was created to work with various banks around the world to eliminate hectic international fees and delays in transactions.

Ripple now has direct access to one of the most popular banks in Morocco and to its international financial partners.

Attijariwafa Bank’s Customers are the primary beneficiaries of this collaboration. Through their membership, they will be granted simplified cross-border payments.
