Morocco’s flag carrier Royal Air Maroc (RAM) announced on Friday, December 24, in a new update, the scheduling of special flights from Morocco to five destinations, including Belgium, Spain, France, Italy, and Mauritania, from January 1 to 31.

RAM’s move came after Moroccan authorities announced to extend the suspension of air travel until January 31, 2022.

The Moroccan national airline said in this regard that it is committed to supporting its customers during all this period by authorizing the change and reimbursement of international flight tickets with an initial travel date between January 1st and January 31, 2022.

RAM’s flights were operating only in three destinations, including Portugal, Turkey, and the UAE.

Previously, Moroccan authorities announced the end of all exceptional flights to the country by December 23, following a surge of the first Omicron case in the country.
