Royal Air Maroc will offer a record 8.2 million seats during the 2026 summer season, a 23% increase from last year, as the airline expands capacity to meet demand from Moroccans living abroad, tourists and African transit passengers.
The national carrier said Monday its summer schedule will connect Morocco to 86 international destinations across Europe, Africa, the Americas, Asia and the Middle East using a fleet of 67 aircraft.
Europe will account for more than 3 million seats, up 22%, while capacity to Africa will rise 36% to more than 1.8 million seats, reinforcing Casablanca’s role as the airline’s regional hub.
Royal Air Maroc will also offer nearly 1.2 million seats on domestic routes, an 18% increase, and expand its point-to-point network by 37%, supported by the opening of a new base in Tetouan.
The airline said it will operate its entire summer schedule using its own aircraft for the first time, without leasing additional planes, while continuing to modernize its fleet and improve punctuality and passenger service.
