Moroccan police arrested 10 people, including five men and five women, during a raid on an apartment in Agadir on Thursday, authorities said.

The operation was carried out by officers from the city’s Seventh Police District after receiving information suggesting the apartment, located in the Hay Salam neighborhood, was being used for suspicious activities linked mainly to prostitution.

Police said a minor was among those arrested. The girl had been reported missing by her family, and a search notice had previously been issued for her disappearance.

The intervention followed a report of a suspicious gathering inside the apartment. Officers moved in and carried out the arrests in accordance with instructions from the public prosecutor’s office.

All suspects were taken into custody for questioning under the supervision of prosecutors to determine the circumstances surrounding the case, establish individual responsibilities, and identify any criminal offenses.
