Casablanca police quickly responded today, Thursday, to a viral video showing a naked man disrupting traffic on tramway tracks. The incident, which endangered both the man and other road users, led to his swift arrest.
Police services in the Al Fida-Mers Sultan security district handled the case. Investigations confirmed the authenticity of the video, leading to the man’s immediate apprehension shortly after the incident.
Authorities have launched a judicial inquiry into the matter, overseen by the competent public prosecutor’s office. The suspect, identified as a citizen from a sub-Saharan African country, has been transferred to a local hospital for a mental and psychological evaluation.
