Morocco secured qualification as one of the four best third-placed teams, finishing Group A with three points and a goal difference of minus two.

The hosts opened with a 4-0 victory over New Zealand before suffering consecutive defeats against Germany (4-2) and Argentina (5-1).

The Atlas Lionesses will need to improve defensively after conceding nine goals in their final two group matches.
