A group of women in the Tindouf camps attacked the car of the so-called “Interior Minister” following a protest outside his ministry, Tindouf Autonomists Support Forum announced Saturday.
The women had staged a sit-in demanding the release of a relative detained at the Dhiba prison, known for holding human rights defenders.
When their protest was forcibly dismantled by militia forces, they retaliated by attacking the minister’s vehicle.
This incident highlights the growing anger and unrest within the camps, signaling escalating tensions and security vulnerabilities within the Polisario Front.
