Major General Jawwad Ahmed, the new Force Commander of the United Nations Mission in the Southern Provinces of the Kingdom, was received on Thursday at the Headquarters of the Southern Zone in Agadir by Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the Southern Zone.
During this meeting, which provided an opportunity to discuss the mission’s activities, the two officials welcomed the exceptional levels achieved in coordination in the operational, security, demining, and logistical support fields, according to a statement by the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.
