Several Moroccan students hoping to pursue higher education at Romanian universities have expressed frustration over significant delays in processing their applications at the Romanian Consulate in Rabat. The delays threaten to derail their academic plans as the start of the semester approaches.

According to the students, who reached out to Hespress, they submitted their application files to Romanian universities and paid all required tuition fees before submitting their documents for consular review. However, three months have passed without any response from the consulate.

Despite multiple attempts to contact the consulate, the students report that their efforts have been unsuccessful, leaving them in a state of uncertainty.

The students are now facing a looming deadline: mid-December is the last date to enroll in Romanian universities. They have expressed concerns that if the situation remains unresolved, their chance of studying in Romania will be lost.
