Moroccan international Amine Adli of Bayer Leverkusen will be sidelined until 2025 following a serious injury sustained during Wednesday’s Champions League match against Stade Brestois. The club confirmed that Adli fractured his left fibula during the game, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
The 24-year-old winger will undergo rehabilitation at Leverkusen’s training and rehabilitation center, known as Werkstatt. The club indicated that he is not expected to return to the field until at least January 2025. Bayer Leverkusen currently sits fourth in the Bundesliga standings.
