Morocco’s central bank, Bank Al-Maghrib, announced on Tuesday that it is maintaining its key interest rate at 3%.
This decision, following the first board meeting of 2024, reflects the bank’s judgment that the current rate is necessary to control inflation expectations and bring inflation back in line with their price stability goals, said the central bank in a press release.
