Palestinian media professionals and content creators from the city of Al Quds visited Morocco, taking in the cities of Rabat, Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Larache and Casablanca.

The Palestinian media delegation, whose visit ended on Thursday, held a series of meetings with media professionals at the “Maison de la presse” (House of the Press) in Tangier, as well as with Moroccan journalists representing foreign media accredited in Morocco, said a statement by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency.

According to the same source, the delegation visited the Tangier Grand Stadium, where they attended the football match between Ittihad of Tangier and Difaa Al Jadida, before touring the facilities of the port of Tanger Med, one of Africa’s largest seaports, and learning about some aspects of the Kingdom’s history through visits to archaeological sites in Tangier and Larache, as well as the ancient medinas of Tetouan and Chefchaouen.

During meetings held at the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Council of the Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME), Palestinian media professionals emphasized the Kingdom’s role in supporting the Palestinian cause and the privileged status enjoyed by Moroccans in Al-Quds.

During its participation last Tuesday in a conference on “The role of the media in supporting the civilizational identity of Al-Quds Al-Sharif,” the delegation highlighted the role of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency in the holy city, under the aegis of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, as well as its efforts on the ground to preserve its cultural identity.
