Maroc Telecom’s customers reached nearly 76 million at the end of September 2022, up 3.9% compared to the same period last year, said the Group Tuesday in a press release.
This increase is mainly driven by the 6.2% growth of the international customer base, explained the group in a statement on its financial results.
In Morocco, the mobile customer base reached 19.9 million customers at the end of the first nine months of 2022, down slightly by 0.5% compared to September 2021, added the same source.
The Fixed-line customer base fell by 2.3% year-on-year, with almost 2 million lines at the end of September 2022, while the Broadband customer base had 1.7 million subscribers, with a strong growth in FTTH (+39.7%).

The contribution of the African subsidiaries to the Group’s results remains significant, said the Group, noting that they maintain a positive dynamic in a difficult macroeconomic, competitive and regulatory environment, added the same source.
Meanwhile, good cost management has increased the Group’s profitability, according to the operator, stating that the Group relies on the quality of its network and services while maintaining an efficient investment policy, allowing it to accompany the development of uses in all markets where it operates, according to the same source.
