The World Bank has announced additional financing of $100 million, equivalent to 1 billion dirhams, for the Casablanca Community Support Program.

The bank stated, in a press release seen by Hespress, that this amount will be added to the original program, amounting to $ 200 million, approved in 2017.

This program supports the financial and institutional strengthening of the city within the framework of the Greater Casablanca Development Plan with the aim of making the city more competitive, vibrant, and attractive to investors.

The World Bank explained that this additional financing will expand the development impact of the program and accelerate the recovery from the Corona pandemic in the municipality of Casablanca while ensuring that the development model in the city is sustainable, resilient, and inclusive.
