Morocco’s government announced a new round of direct financial support for road transport operators, extending assistance to passenger and freight carriers as rising fuel prices continue to put pressure on operating costs.

In a statement, the Head of Government’s Office said the additional subsidy would cover a 15-day period, with applications opening on Tuesday, November 10, 2026.

Eligible transport professionals can submit their applications through the government’s dedicated online platform at https://mouakaba.transport.gov.ma.

The measure comes after diesel prices increased by between 50 centimes and MAD 1 per liter at the beginning of November, approaching MAD 17 at some filling stations.

The government said the support aims to cushion transport operators against fluctuations in petroleum prices and limit their impact on professional activities.
