Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, Employment and Skills Younes Sekkouri and Mauritania’s Minister of Employment and Vocational Training Lalya Camara discussed, on Wednesday in Marrakech, ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in the field of vocational training.
These talks are part of the willingness of both parties to implement the agreement signed between Morocco and Mauritania on the occasion of the 8th session of the High Joint Moroccan-Mauritanian Commission held in Rabat, Sekkouri told M24, MAP’s 24-hour news TV channel, after his meeting, held on the sidelines of the 5th Ministerial Meeting of the UfM on employment and labor, whose work ended Wednesday in Marrakech.
Morocco has a pioneering experience in the field of vocational training, which will be very useful for this Maghreb country, which aspires to modernize its vocational training system, he noted.
Morocco and Mauritania have signed last March, a framework agreement for cooperation in the field of vocational training between the Office of Vocational Training and Promotion of Work (OFPPT) and the Ministry of National Education and Reform of the education system.
