Al Moutmir is presenting a range of farming programs at SIAM 2026, focusing on soil management, livestock, water use and farmer training.

The initiative works with farmers across different stages of production, from soil analysis to improving farm output. Its approach combines field support, research and digital tools.

One of the new areas highlighted this year is livestock production. The program targets small and medium farmers and covers animal feed, forage production, reproduction, animal health and farm management. It includes field demonstrations, training sessions and digital tools. A system called SmartFeed is used to adjust feed based on animal needs and track performance.

According to Al Moutmir, more than 1,500 livestock farmers are part of the program, with over 120 forage demonstration sites and more than 100 training sessions held.

The program includes training, field schools and demonstration platforms to improve irrigation practices. A digital tool, AquaSense, is used to monitor soil moisture and guide water use.

Data shared at the event shows more than 3,000 training sessions have been carried out and over 200 cooperatives supported. Reported gains in water use efficiency reach up to 25% in orchards and between 7 and 15% in vegetable farming.

Al Moutmir is also running a program for rural women. The porgram is called ElleMoutmir and provides training, technical support and networking opportunities. More than 4,000 women farmers and 400 cooperatives are involved, according to the initiative.

Another program, Jeunes Leaders, focuses on young people in agriculture by combining training, mentoring and support for small projects. More than 450 young participants have been supported so far, including some involved in agricultural service cooperatives and fertilizer-related startups.

A separate project, P4SFI, promotes the use of legumes in crop rotation, aiming to improve soil quality and farm output. Reported results include yield increases of 20 to 25% and higher profit margins.

Al Moutmir also announced a partnership with CropLife Africa and Middle East and CropLife Morocco to promote safe use of crop protection products through training and awareness programs.
