The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Ghanaian referee Daniel Nii Laryea to officiate the high-profile Africa Cup of Nations semi-final between Morocco and Nigeria. The match is scheduled to take place tomorrow, Wednesday, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, with kick-off set for 9:00 PM.
Laryea will be assisted on the field by South African Zakhele Thusi Granville Siwela and Souru Phatsoane from Lesotho, while Rwandan official Samuel Uwikunda will serve as the fourth official. The Video Assistant Referee (VAR) duties have been assigned to South African referee Abongile Tom, who will be supported by Tunisia’s Haythem Guirat and Kenya’s Stephen Onyango Yiembe. This encounter is widely considered one of the tournament’s marquee matchups given the continental pedigree of both the Atlas Lions and the Super Eagles.
