Morocco’s senior national team and its under 20 squad, winners of the World Cup in Chile, are finalists for National Team of the Year alongside Cape Verde. The country also has two contenders for Young Player of the Year: Othmane Maâmma, voted best player at the U20 World Cup, and Abdallah Ouzzane, part of the U17 Africa Cup of Nations winning side.

In the coaching category, Morocco fields two candidates: Walid Regragui for the senior team and Mohamed Wahbi for the U20s, competing with Cape Verde’s Bubista.

RS Berkane and Pyramids FC are joined by Mamelodi Sundowns in the race for Club of the Year.

Two Moroccan internationals, Mohamed Chibi and Oussama El Mlawi, feature in the three man shortlist for Local Player of the Year.
