King Mohammed VI, accompanied by Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan and Prince Moulay Rachid, presided Wednesday over the official reception commemorating the 26th anniversary of his accession to the throne, held at the Place of the Prefecture of M’diq-Fnideq.

The ceremony began with a salute to the national flag and a 21-gun salute, followed by a presentation of greetings from senior Moroccan officials, judiciary leaders, council presidents, religious dignitaries, and regional authorities.

Among those received were Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch, House Speaker Rachid Talbi Alami, and Judicial Council head Mohamed Abdennabaoui.

King Mohammed VI also welcomed top security and military officials, including General Mohamed Berrid, Abdellatif Hammouchi, and Yassine El Mansouri.

Heads of major constitutional bodies and consultative councils, such as Amina Bouayach and Khalihenna Ould Errachid, were also in attendance.

Foreign diplomats from Africa, Europe, Asia, and the Americas extended their wishes, alongside leaders of religious communities representing Christian, Muslim, and Jewish faiths.

The King also received FIFA President Gianni Infantino and Moroccan Football Federation head Fouzi Lekjaa before honoring the women’s national football team for reaching back-to-back finals in the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations. A commemorative photo with the players concluded the ceremony.
