Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk has addressed his strained relationship with Moroccan international Hakim Ziyech, who is expected to leave the Turkish club during the upcoming winter transfer window.
In statements to Turkish media, Buruk described Ziyech as a “world-class player” but noted that “his body language isn’t ideal when he’s a substitute.”
“One thing is clear: he is unhappy about not playing with us. The player is currently in talks with other clubs and is on the verge of leaving,” Buruk added.
Ziyech, seeking more playing time, has attracted interest from Rennes in France, a Major League Soccer club, as well as teams in Spain and the Gulf, making his departure from Galatasaray increasingly likely.
