Morocco’s Atlas Lions beat Tanzania tonight 3-0 in their first game for this year’s AFCON, breaking North African teams’ slow tournament kickoff.
Team Captain Romain Saiss scored the first goal in the 30th minute during the first half, giving momentum to the national team’s offensive line.
In the second half, Ounahi scored the second goal in the 77 minute, shortly followed by En-nseyri’s strike in 80′.
Tonight’s game puts the Moroccan national team atop the F Group, which includes Tanzania, DR Congo and Zambia.
