The Royal Moroccan Rugby Federation (FRMR) and the Royal Institute of Management Training Moulay Rachid (IRFC) signed, Thursday in Salé, a partnership and cooperation agreement in order to develop rugby practice in Morocco.

This partnership agreement comes within the framework of the celebration of the World Day of Sport for Development and Peace, established by the UN at the initiative of Morocco.

On this occasion, the FRMR president Rachid Mouakkad told M24, MAP’s news channel, that this agreement comes in the perspective of allowing the executives of the federal body to benefit from the IRFC training, adding that the component of continuous training represents the basis to develop sports practice.

He noted that this partnership is likely to further professionalize the practice of rugby in Morocco, stressing the organization in this context of several activities for students from several schools around this discipline.

The IRFC director Bahi El Houssine has, for his part, stressed that as part of the World Day of Sport for Development and Peace, the two parties have organized a day of discovery and awareness around rugby for schoolchildren, as well as a training of the FRMR trainers.
