The death toll among Moroccans affected by the earthquake that hit Turkey two weeks ago rose to 19, while 34 remain missing.
According to the Moroccan embassy in Ankara, 154 Moroccans survived the disaster as of yet, including 16 wounded, who were discharged from hospitals after receiving necessary treatments.
Turkish authorities noted on Tuesday that rescue operations have been halted in most of the southern states affected by the earthquake, which killed more than 42 thousand people in Turkey and Syria.
