Morocco’s Directorate General of Meteorology warned that the Kingdom will experience a severe cold wave from Sunday to Thursday, with temperatures ranging from negative °C8 to negative °C3 in certain regions.
In an orange level alert, the DGM noted that the provinces of Ifrane, Taza, Sefrou, Boulmane, Beni Mellal, Azilal, Khenifra, Al Haouz, Midelt and Tinghir will experience temperatures ranging from negative °C8 to negative °C3.
Additionally, the provinces of Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Jerada, Oujda-Angad,
Taourirt, Figuig, El Hajeb, Fez, Moulay Yaacoub, Taounat, Meknes, Khemissat, Khouribga, Chichaoua, Zagoura, Ouerzazat, Rachidia, Tata, and Taroudant will experience temperatures ranging from negative °C3 to °C3.
