Following the historic qualification of Morocco to the semi-finals of the World Cup 2022, Amine Harit decided to go to Qatar to support his teammates.
The 25-year-old player was included in coach Walid Regragui’s final 26- squad list for the World Cup, but he suffered a serious knee injury seven days before the tournament, which forced him to miss the tournament.
The Atlas Lions are set to face off against France on Wednesday at 8 p.m.
More recently, Morocco defeated Cristiano Ronaldo’s team (1-0) to reach the semi-finals.
