The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced Thursday the final list of match officials that have been selected for the competition.

The announcement came just over 10 days left before the kick-off of the second edition of CAF Women’s Champions League in Morocco.

The sporting event is set to take place from October 30 to November 13 in the cities of Rabat and Marrakech, and will see the technical contribution of 10 referees, 12 assistant referees, and seven video referees, added the same source.

“The selected referees are from 23 nationalities – giving a good spread across the continent,” further stated CAF in the press release.

On the opening day of the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League, two matches will take place at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat.

Green Buffaloes FC of Zambia will play Determine Girls FC of Liberia at 5 p.m local time (4 GMT) followed by hosts ASFAR of Morocco against Simba Queens SC of Tanzania at 8 p.m local time, said the same source.

The sporting event’s final will take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat and will reveal the successor of South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, according to the same source.
