Chelsea Football Club celebrated this Saturday, the birthday of Moroccan international player Hakim Ziyech.

Chelsea FC published on its Facebook page a new post, stating, “today we celebrate the birthday of a wizard who became famous throughout Europe, spreading his magic wherever he is, with his name written in golden letters across the world, dominated by London’s pride.”

The club wished a happy new year for Ziyech, who have just turned 29.

Most recently, Ziyech wrote on Instagram that he won’t be returning to play for the national team, following issues with Morocco’s coach Vahid Halilhodzic.

It’s a shame how the national team has lost such a talented player! I think that the coach’s egoistic attitudes towards some players is hurting the team! Vahid has to go!
