Following Morocco’s decision to authorize special flights until December 23, RAM is launching special flights to three destinations, including, Portugal, Turkey, and the UAE, RAM wrote on Twitter.
Recently, Morocco’s flag carrier said Moroccans residing abroad (MREs) who left the country on September 1, 2021, can benefit from these exceptional flights.
RAM announced that passengers must provide at check-in, an ID card or passport with an address in Morocco, as well as a negative PCR test less than 48 hours before the flight, adding that passengers will need to be quarantined for 7 days in an approved hotel designated for this aim, to which they will undergo a PCR test every 48 hours.
RAM stated, “Any traveler who will test positive at the airport or at the hotel will be supported by the competent health authorities.”
The launch of these two new flights came after Moroccan authorities announced the end of all exceptional flights to the country by December 23, following the discovery of the first Omicron case in the country.
