Cement sales in Morocco reached more than 13.71 million tons by the end of November, marking a 10.63% increase compared with the same period in 2024, the Ministry of National Territorial Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy said in its monthly update.

According to the ministry, sales to the distribution sector topped 7.46 million tons, followed by ready-mix concrete producers with more than 3.48 million tons, and precast concrete manufacturers with over 1.4 million tons. The construction sector accounted for 397,051 tons, infrastructure projects for 905,151 tons, and mortar for 60,899 tons.

In November alone, cement sales exceeded 1.34 million tons, up 4.88% year-over-year.

The ministry said the figures are based on internal data from members of the Professional Association of Cement Companies, which includes Ciments de Témara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, LafargeHolcim Maroc, and Novacem, which joined the association in January 2024.
