Moroccan international Amine Harit has earned praise from Olympique de Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi after strong performances during the club’s summer preparations for the 2025-26 season, a source close to the team told Hesport.
The 28-year-old midfielder, who had been among the players linked with a potential departure during the transfer window, delivered convincing displays in training and friendlies that forced De Zerbi to reconsider his plans.
The Italian coach reportedly told club management he is counting on Harit next season, with a transfer only possible if a financially attractive offer arrives.
Harit, under contract with Marseille until 2027, hopes to revive his career and return to Morocco’s national team. Since joining from Schalke 04, he has played 107 matches for Marseille, scoring 10 goals and providing 20 assists.
