Investigations into the case of a German national accused of sexually exploiting minors in Tangier have widened, with sources confirming the arrest of a Moroccan intermediary allegedly tasked with luring vulnerable children to the suspect in exchange for money.

According to law enforcement familiar with the matter, authorities believe the number of victims may significantly exceed the three initially reported, as inquiries reveal the suspect made repeated visits to Morocco.

The Royal Gendarmerie in Ksar Sghir continues its probe into what appears to be a broader exploitation network involving multiple accomplices who facilitated access to children from precarious backgrounds.

Neighbors had reportedly filed complaints after observing minors frequenting the German man’s residence.

The case, now before the Tangier appeals court, has stirred public outrage and recalls past high-profile paedophilia scandals in Morocco, including the Daniel Galván affair.

The investigating judge is reportedly taking his time, anticipating further arrests and deeper revelations.
