Houcine Ammouta nominated for Best Coach in the World 2024

Moroccan coach, Houcine Ammouta, has been nominated for the title of Best Coach in the World for 2024 by the International Federation of Football History & Statistics (IFFHS).

The International Federation revealed the list of candidates competing for the Best Coach award for 2024, with Ammouta among the nominees.

The list includes Luis de la Fuente, the coach of Spain; Didier Deschamps, the coach of France; and Lionel Scaloni, the coach of Argentina.

Amouta’s nomination by the International Federation comes after he achieved a historic accomplishment with the Jordanian national team this year by reaching the final of the Asian Cup.

The star-studded list of nominees includes renowned managers like Luis de la Fuente (Spain), Gareth Southgate (England), Didier Deschamps (France), Ronald Koeman (Netherlands), Julian Nagelsmann (Germany), Vincenzo Montella (Italy – Team Turkey), Murat Yakin (Switzerland), Willy Sagnol (France – Team Georgia), Lionel Scaloni (Argentina), Néstor Lorenzo (Argentina – Team Colombia.

Others are; Marcelo Bielsa (Argentina – Team Uruguay), Fernando Batista (Argentina – Team Venezuela), Jesse Marsch (United States – Team Canada), Thomas Christiansen (Spain – Team Panama), Emerse Faé (Ivory Coast), Hugo Broos (Belgium – Team South Africa), Bartolomé “Tintín” Márquez (Spain – Team Qatar), and Darren Bazeley (England – Team New Zealand).
