American Apache helicopters will participate in an exercise as part of the 20th edition of the “African Lion” maneuvers. During this exercise, they will conduct aerial demonstrations and confrontation exercises alongside aircraft from the Royal Air Force.

Boeing officially announced the start of production of 24 “AH-64E Apache” helicopters for the Moroccan Royal Armed Forces. This follows a deal made in 2020, with deliveries scheduled for 2024.
This announcement, which was made last year and viewed by Hespress AR, stated that “the production of 24 AH-64E Apache helicopters will take place at Boeing’s new site in Mesa, Arizona.”
The same source added that “with Morocco acquiring Apache helicopters, it will possess the most advanced and stable helicopter in the world.”
Christina Upah, Vice President of Attack Helicopter Programs and Senior Executive at Boeing Mesa stated regarding this announcement, “Boeing’s partnership with the Kingdom of Morocco spans decades, and I am proud that the Apache is now part of this legacy.”
The “AH-64E Apache” is the latest attack helicopter, designed and equipped with an open systems architecture, including the latest communications, navigation, sensor, and weapon systems. It also features an enhanced targeting system that provides information day and night and in all weather conditions.
On their official website, Boeing says that Apache helicopters of all types are the most powerful worldwide, as demonstrated in US Army battles. Today, the new model of these helicopters forms the backbone of the attack helicopter fleet of the US Army and an increasing number of international defense forces.”
Boeing has delivered nearly 2,500 Apache helicopters to 16 countries so far, including the US, the Netherlands, Greece, the UK, Japan, India, Singapore, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.
In 2022, Inter-Coastal Electronics announced that it would provide equipment and logistical support to assist in training Royal Armed Forces pilots to operate the “AH-64E Apache” helicopters.
