Drake has pledged to cover the mortgage of a fan’s deceased mother. During his performance at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri, a concert attendee passed him a note detailing their situation. The fan explained the financial burden left behind by their late mother. Without hesitation, the 37-year-old rapper agreed to alleviate the debt, acknowledging that it was a substantial sum.

In a video circulating on X, Drake received the note from a front-row spectator, visibly reacting to its contents. Addressing the crowd, he expressed, “This is it?” He then confirmed the request to pay off the fan’s mother’s house, acknowledging the scale of the outstanding balance. Despite the significant amount, Drake declared his intent to settle the debt, stating, “But you know what, Imma pay off your momma’s house for you.”

The audience erupted in applause, showing their support for the generous gesture. Later, Drake informed them that the fan had asked for “160 bands”, equivalent to $160,000, to be donated. Drake assured that the entire amount would come from his own pocket, emphasizing, “Imma pay out of my pocket. That’s gonna come from me. Rest in peace to your momma.”
