With Eid al-Fitr approaching, Morocco’s music scene is coming alive with concerts, performances, and festive events, offering audiences a mix of traditional and contemporary sounds. The period marks a return of live performances after a month-long lull, energizing major cities across the country.

Performances range from Moroccan popular music to modern genres, often blending multiple styles in group shows. These events provide fans the chance to see their favorite artists live while highlighting the close connection between performers and audiences.

Singer Hatim Ammor is kicking off a tour in Morocco’s economic capital at the “Studio of Performing Arts” to celebrate the holiday, performing a selection of his most popular songs. On March 27, Ammor is scheduled to perform at the Palais des Congrès before continuing his nationwide tour.

Meanwhile, Zouhair El Bahoui will perform in Paris alongside other Arab artists, including Tunisian rapper Balti, Nordo, Bilal, Maya, and Moha Milano, promising a diverse musical experience.

Popular singer Zina Daoudia will tour European cities after Ramadan, starting in Lyon, France, followed by Zandam in the Netherlands, and concluding in Geneva, Switzerland, on April 22, performing for Moroccan expatriates and fans of Moroccan popular music.

Music fans are also anticipating a performance by Hoba Hoba Spirit on March 26 at Megarama Theater, featuring a blend of participatory music and energetic stage performances.

In Marrakech, Miden Theater will host an Eid celebration spotlighting Moroccan musical heritage, with popular singer Tahour performing alongside the talented Belhaj brothers in an evening of creativity and intimacy.

The programming underscores that Eid al-Fitr has become more than a religious observance; it is now a key cultural moment in Morocco. The holiday allows artists to connect directly with their audiences, while providing rich, diverse performances that celebrate Moroccan musical traditions and the festive spirit of the season.
