Morocco’s travel revenues reached MAD 88.47 billion in January-October 2023, compared to MAD 73.27 billion in the same period of 2022, according to the Foreign Exchange Office.
These revenues also exceeded the level reached at the end of October 2019 (MAD 67.02 billion), the Foreign Exchange Office pointed out in its monthly foreign trade indicators.
For their part, tourism expenses stood at MAD 20.37 billion in January-October 2023, the same source noted, adding that travel balance stood at MAD 68.1 billion at the end of October 2023 compared to MAD 57.5 billion during the same period of the previous year.
