Moroccan YouTuber “Hamritox” or Adam Hamrita is facing controversy on Twitter for a tweet that has sparked calls for intervention by authorities.

Hamrita, with around 200k Instagram followers and 3k Twitter followers, engaged in a heated argument over a leaked fake screenshot of a conversation where he asked a female follower to join him for a YouTube video because she is “pretty.”

His response to the fake tweet: “I would much rather rape a dead 9 years old than to write ‘franchement’. Twitter users are so good at photoshop.”

The now-deleted tweet circulated online, with screenshots capturing the insensitive and harmful speech.

Despite the backlash, Hamrita continued to share questionable tweets and refused to apologize for the rape, pedophilia, and necrophilia comment. Prior to this, Hamrita posted pictures with controversial American figure “Sneako” in Marrakech.

Hamrita, reportedly 21 years old, faced accusations of making a pedophilic comment due to his mention of a 9-year-old.

When called out for it, Hamrita emphasized that he did indeed talk about the rape of a 9 years old.

Many Moroccan twitter users are calling for the interventions to hold the youtuber accountable.
