Guichet.ma promises ticket refunds for canceled Booba concert, as costumers voice frustration

Ticketing website, Guichet.ma said it will reimburse all ticket holders in the wake of the recent cancellation of the sold-out Booba concert.

CEO of the platform, Ahmed Tawfik said in an exclusive interview with Hespress EN that every purchaser would be entitled to a complete refund, and that Guichet.ma has taken “immediate and decisive action to expedite the refund process.”

“In a matter of just seven days, all funds will be swiftly returned to those who have made ticket purchases. We have been diligently working on this matter since the moment we were first apprised of the concert’s unfortunate cancellation,” declared Tawfik.

Dissatisfaction with Guichet.ma’s refund policy for event tickets has sparked an outpouring of discontent among ticket buyers who have taken to various online platforms to voice their grievances.

In a conversation with a representative from Guichet.ma, ticket holder, Oussama learned that the platform had promptly dispatched an email to “all ticket buyers” in response. However, the employee politely declined to furnish Oussama with a copy of the aforementioned email, he told Hespress EN.

Tawfik confirmed to Hespress EN that a communication email was sent to the people concerned with the Booba concert.

Speaking candidly to Hespress EN, Oussama criticized Guichet.ma, deeming its refund policy to be one of the most unfavorable he has ever encountered. Oussama vented his frustrations not only in relation to the Booba event but also expressed his discontent with the overall handling of various events offered by the platform.

In accordance with Guichet.ma’s website guidelines, “event tickets are non-refundable and cannot be returned in cases of loss or theft. In the unfortunate event of a show cancellation, only the ticket fee will be reimbursed.”

Oussama took to his social media platforms to publicly declare his intention to boycott the ticketing website and diligently search for viable alternative options.

“It is profoundly disheartening that individuals who have dutifully paid for their tickets are left in a perpetual state of uncertainty for months without any form of confirmation or reimbursement,” Oussama said.

Echoing Oussama’s sentiment, Yassine voiced his dissatisfaction with Guichet.ma’s policies in a statement to Hespress EN, unequivocally asserting that the service displayed an unprofessional approach and failed to meet the expected standards of quality.

Yassine highlighted persistent technical issues and recurrent “server crashes” as additional sources of frustration.

Guichet.ma’s dynamic online portal, as well as its mobile application, serve as robust platforms for not only selling event tickets but also occasionally offering enticing special promotions.

Guichet.ma has been able to establish a reputation as a high-potential partner among event planners in Morocco.

The portal collaborates with major Moroccan events and offers a wide range of tickets, such as theater, music performances, family vacations, playgrounds, and training courses.
