Well collapse kills man in Tansift, Zagoura

A 37-year-old man was digging a well when he fell into it in Tansift, near Zagoura, leading to his unfortunate death.

The well caved in while the man was still inside.

Local officials and citizens initiated rescue efforts to pull the man from the well right away. The rescue operation lasted for 12 hours, reaching a depth of 12 meters.

The deceased’s body was eventually retrieved in the early hours of this morning.
