The General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) organized, Saturday in Rabat, a ceremony marking the 66th anniversary of the creation of FAR.

This ceremony, chaired by Lieutenant General Belkhir El Farouk, Inspector General of FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, was an opportunity to read out the Order of the Day addressed by King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of FAR, to officers, non-commissioned officers, and privates.

The ceremony was also marked by the organization of a military parade featuring various units and detachments of the Headquarters under the Staff of the Royal Armed Forces.

On this occasion, several officers and non-commissioned officers were decorated with Wissams which were awarded to them by the Sovereign.

The 66th anniversary of the creation of the Royal Armed Forces is an occasion to remember the great sacrifices that FAR made since its creation on May 14, 1956.
