Spanish airline Binter announced that it has launched a new direct route linking Gran Canaria to Fez, which will be available starting this upcoming July, reports MAP.
The airline will operate the new route flights every Saturday for the period between July 2 and September 17, the company said in a statement.
The flights will be operated by an ATR 72 aircraft with a capacity of 72 passengers.
As part of the strategic partnership between the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and Binter, the airline has increased its capacity to Morocco for this summer with over 34,000 seats.
Last Saturday, Morocco’s Guelmim Airport received the first flight from Canary Island on board a plane belonging to Spanish airline Binter.
This flight was the first of its kind after the opening of the route and Guelmim airport back in January 2019.
