Two Royal Air Maroc (RAM) planes from the Romanian capital Bucharest arrived this Friday morning at Casablanca’s Mohammed V International Airport, carrying 282 Moroccan students departing from Ukraine.
Morocco’s flag carrier had scheduled flights, in a move to transport Moroccans stranded in Ukraine, and their family members from Romania, Budapest, Hungary, and Bologna, in destination to Casablanca’s Airport, with a fixed rate of MAD750.
RAM also announced new special repatriation flights for Moroccans established in Ukraine with 2 new flights on Saturday, March 5, 2022, from Bratislava (Slovakia) and Warsaw (Poland) to Casablanca.
RAM has initially set up special flights for the Moroccan community in Ukraine, mostly composed of students.
The airline company operated the first special flight to Ukraine on February 15, as growing tensions between Ukraine and Russia took place at that time.
