The Royal Moroccan Federation of Electronic Games (FMRJE) has announced that the Kingdom of Morocco will be among the countries participating in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022.
Mandated by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) as a privileged interlocutor of FIFA on issues related to eSport, the FRMJE took part in a process of integration of new countries that lasted several months and ends with the validation of the file of Morocco by FIFA to participate in the FIFAe Nations Series 2022, said the federal body in a statement.
The FIFAe Nations Series 2022 pits member associations against each other in a 2 vs 2 format on the PlayStation 5 console. Gatherings and tournaments organized by the FRMJE will allow the national coach Saad Bassy to identify the best players who will represent the Kingdom of Morocco in this competition, the same source said.
Morocco as a new country in the competition will directly access the online qualification of the FIFAe Nations Series 2022 which will take place from 19 to 22 May.
