The second record was in the category of “Most number of drones used to launch fireworks simultaneously”, as 452 drones were launched to create a visual formation of “Happy New Year” in the sky.
On the other hand, the Sheikh Zayed Festival in Abu Dhabi set 3 new records, with its visitors receiving the first minutes of the new year with a fireworks display within 40 minutes, using a giant drone show that lit up the skies of Al Wathba, including 2,022 drones that formed a portrait of Sheikh Zayed, according to UAE’s media outlet.
