King Mohammed VI sent condolences to UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan following the death of Sheikh Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, expressing sympathy to the ruling family and the Emirati people.
In a message to the UAE president, the King said he learned of the death with “great emotion and deep sorrow” and conveyed his condolences to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, the deceased’s relatives and family, and the people of the United Arab Emirates.
“In the face of this painful loss, and accepting God’s will, I wish to convey to Your Highness, and through you to the relatives and family of the deceased and to the brotherly Emirati people, my deepest condolences and sincere sympathy and compassion. I pray to Almighty God to grant you patience and solace,” the King said.
