Tunisia’s Health Ministry announced on Saturday that it will set up new health entry conditions to be effective starting December 1st, following the surge of the new Omicron variant.
Travelers must provide a certificate proving their vaccination, a negative PCR test taken within the past 48 hours, and a 10-day self-isolating.
Travelers are also required to fill out a form on the following website https://www.ontt.tn/ar/blagh in order to comply with the mandatory 10-day quarantine and to pay on their own in a specific center, as well as provide a booking document with all payment information related to all cost expenses, including transport, and PCR test.
In case the traveler is tested positive, then he will be transferred to an isolation center and cover the costs of his accommodation.
For travelers who want to access Tunisia with the aim to receive treatment, then they must provide authorization from the Health Ministry in addition to the other conditions, Tunisia’s Health Ministry press release concluded.
