Strong thundershowers with risk of hail and wind gusts are expected on Monday and Tuesday in many provinces, according to Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
Ranging between 20 and 30 mm, these thundery showers are forecast from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Southern provinces of Es-Semara, Oued Ed-Dahab, Boujdour, and Assa-zag, DGM states in an orange-level alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon (30 to 40 mm) is expected on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. in Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Zagora, Al Haouz, Azilal, Errachidia, Midelt, Assa-Zag, and Tata provinces.
